View from Main St. at Olympic Blvd., construction of Neiman Marcus department store at 1000 S. Main St., 12/2010. This building replaced a parking lot and David M. Brian's, a large household accessory and kitchen gift store (part of the MacCaulou Group). The building was originally built as a J.C. Penny Dept. Store as part of the Broadway Plaza Shopping Center built in 1951. David M. Brian relocated to the right of this photo, east of Crate and Barrel. Image 2 is from the vantage point of the then Barnes and Noble book store (now Anthropologie) |
